Yes! I’m still rocking my Kurly Clips mermaid length clip-ins! Since my original review, I wear them a bit differently. Instead of  having the majority of my hair braided, I am wearing them by just clipping them into a braid out.

Weekly Routine
During the week I wear my own hair in twists, which are in a bun. At the end of the week, I remove the twists and then braid my hair into several plaits (I prefer the texture of braid outs vs twist outs). When braiding, I make it a point to use a product which helps to lay the cuticles of my hair flat, like Koils by Nature.  This helps to smooth my hair and blend with the clip-ins.

Installing
When the clip-ins are not in use, I store them in the box they came in. This also help maintain the moisture. The night before I intend to wear them, I co-wash while in a bundle and pay specific attention to the ends of the hair.  I do this to wake up the curls, make sure they aren’t tangled and resembles my natural curl pattern. I follow with a sparse amount of moisturizer and oil to seal.

Otherwise, when I perform regular maintenance, it involves deep conditioning while using my heating pad (as I mentioned in the review video) and following with detangling. Doing this also tames the volume of that hair.

Number of Clips
In my review I explain that several sized clips come in one package.  Using two boxes, I achieve the look you see with placement of (2) 3 clips, (2) 4 clips and (4) 2 clips. There are extra clips left over. And because all of my hair is left out, it adds realistic fullness.

FAQs

Is this hair similar to ONYC or is it a bit more textured? Which do you prefer?
This hair is more textured than the ONYC I used for my first sew-in. The process used in creating texture in both of these brands is quite different. The ONYC results in bigger curls which required me to setting the hair in twists to resemble my own. The Kurly Klips hair has a tighter curl pattern and clumps on its own. Though detangling is ridiculously time consuming, I prefer the Kurly Klips, by far.
